Clinical Framework

Therapeutic Approach: Overview

Borrowing from the "Two Mountains" metaphor frequently used by Dr Russ Harris, an ACT proponent, let me reiterate: I am not an expert on life, and my life is far from perfect. I am climbing my own mountain, just as you are. The only advantage I have as your therapist is that of an objective viewpoint from being on a different mountain. My role is merely to point out obstacles in your way that may be outside your view, so that you can explore alternative paths around them.

HGeorge Psychology provides reliable, affordable, and structured telehealth therapy and strives to help people connect with their personal values and make intentional and consistent value-guided choices to live a mindful and meaningful life.

Sessions are available in English, Malayalam, and Hindi.

My approach is direct and collaborative—we won't simply talk about your problems. Instead, you will gain practical, skills-based tools to increase your distress tolerance and build the psychological flexibility needed to face life’s challenges.

Integrating evidence-based frameworks like ACT, CBT, Narrative Therapy, and trauma-informed care, I offer culturally sensitive and clinically reliable support for adults of all ages.

I also offer Biblical/Christian Counselling when appropriate, upon request.

My Approach

Therapeutic Modalities:

My mission as a therapist is to walk alongside you, providing a grounded space to expand your mental resilience or window of tolerance and build a meaningful life rooted in your personal values.

My therapeutic approach is direct, authentic, and deeply practical. I specialise in offering clear, skills-based psychological interventions without the complicated clinical noise.

I rely heavily on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and CBT, alongside trauma-informed approaches and Narrative Therapy—which is particularly powerful for navigating the complex landscapes of grief and anger.

Additionally, for clients who wish to integrate their spiritual walk into therapy, I provide dedicated Biblical and Christian Counselling to align your psychological growth with your faith.

I provide structured support for adults of all ages and have a keen interest in working with women (55 yrs+) transitioning into new chapters of life.
