Information for General Practitioners and other Referrers

Welcome to HGeorge Psychology. I value my collaborative relationships with General Practitioners and am committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based, and practical psychological care via telehealth.

Why Refer to HGeorge Psychology?

No Current Waitlists: I currently have immediate capacity for adult intake, ensuring your patients receive prompt support when they need it most.

Languages: In addition to English, sessions can be conducted in Malayalam and Hindi.

Affordable & Accessible: I am committed to making mental health accessible. Bulk-billing is available for  Health Care Card holders.

Dedicated Clinical Interest: While treating a broad range of adult conditions, I have a special interest in working with women (55+) navigating major life transitions.

Clinical Scope & Modalities

I utilise Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care to treat:

* Depression & Anxiety disorders

* PTSD, chronic, or childhood trauma

* Perinatal mental health

* OCD, grief, and loss

* Workplace stress & self-esteem issues

Biblical therapy or Christian counselling is available when appropriate, upon request. 

Service Limits (Out of Scope)

To maintain client safety in a telehealth environment, I do not treat: active addictions, undereating disorders, current psychotic episodes, Borderline or Narcissistic personality traits, couples/relationship therapy, or formal ADHD/ASD assessments.

How to Send a Referral?

Please ensure the referral letter is addressed to Mrs Harsha George and explicitly states the number of sessions required.
